Our KRONOS series oil seal vacuum pumps operate on the rotary piston principle. The oil is injected into the pump chamber and is used to seal, lubricate, and cool. We manufacture them single and double stage. The single stage reaches an absolute pressure of 7.5 x 10-4 Torr and the double stage reaches an absolute pressure of 4.5 x 10-4 Torr.

Although they have many moving parts, they are all exposed to the lubricant that makes them last for many years before making a replacement. We have them in water-cooled or air-cooled versions.
